Native Device Connectivity
Direct connectivity to Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Modbus ensure industry-leading performance and compatibility.
Protocol Connectivity
OAS is built on open protocols for Modbus, OPC UA, OPC DA, MQTT, and Sparkplug B, opening up endless integrations with additional hardware and software.
IIoT Protocol Gateway
Once connected, OAS can route data between any data source and destination, despite each using different protocols. Move and translate data with ease.
Device Connectors
Allen Bradley Connector
Supports direct connections to controllers with ABLogix and ABClassic Driver Interfaces such as ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix, and Micro800 with the ABLogix driver, and MicroLogix, SLC 500, and PLC-5 with the ABClassic driver.
Siemens Connector
Connect directly to Siemens controllers with the built in Siemens Driver Interfaces which support communications over Ethernet to S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, and S7-1500.
Modbus Connector
Connect directly to Modbus slave devices with the built in Modbus Driver Interface which supports communications over Ethernet and Serial interfaces with Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, and Modbus ASCII protocols.
MTConnect
Automated setup from MTConnect enabled devices. Receive live data from defined MTConnect data streams.
OPC UA Connector
The OPC UA connector enables connectivity to both local and remote OPC UA servers.
OPC Client Connector
Permits unlimited local and remote OPC UA and OPC DA clients to connect with an OAS Engine for browsing, reading, and writing values.
Data Route
Real-time data transfer and protocol conversion for all OAS drivers, communication interfaces, and IoT endpoints.
Universal Driver Interface
Create your own communication drivers using C# or VB.NET and define custom interface and tag properties. This SDK is easy to use and deploy and free of charge to develop unlimited numbers of drivers.
Data Connectors
Database Tags
With Database Tags, users can define a Database as a distinct data source, making it possible to define custom Tags within the OAS Engine based on individual values found within the database. Database support currently includes MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
OAS Recipe
Provides live data import from databases. The database providers can be SQL Server, SQL Server Express, Access, Oracle, SQL Azure, mySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, MariaDB, SQLite, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon RDS. OAS Recipe supports static or dynamic queries from other data sources such as device or operator input from your user interface.
Excel Connector
The OAS Excel Connector product provides connectivity to Microsoft Excel Workbooks for both read and write functionality. The OAS Excel Connector can interface with Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365, Excel 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, and 2007.
Extensive Device Support
The OAS Platform connects to virtually unlimited endpoints, and enabling interconnectivity between all of them. Using open protocols, an OAS server can communicate with thousands of devices and systems while providing a common interface for data aggregation. In mixed environments, this reduces the long term maintenance cost of any solution and eliminates vendor lock-in.
Flexibility and Extensibility
Once connected to the OAS server, device data is immediately available through APIs and SDKs for developing custom solutions, stunning visualizations, and monitoring using the Trend and Alarm features of the platform. Additionally, transporting data between devices is easily accomplished without the need to develop custom code or processes.

See How We Compare
The initial cost of OAS is far less than our competitors – but the savings don’t stop there. We work with OEMS and System Integrators to provide perpetual licenses with quantity discounts with flexible tag pricing and unlimited client connections.
