Key Features & Benefits

Extensive Device Support

  • AB Logix: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix, and Micro800.
  • AB Classic: MicroLogix, SLC 500, and PLC-5

Optionally connect to devices through a Gateway with IP Address, backplane, slot number, channel number or DHRIO, and node address or remote device.

1-Click Access to Data

Streamline your tag creation process with One Click Allen Bradley, available for both online and offline use. This tool efficiently extracts all accessible variables directly from AB Logix controllers or control programs from all controller types, enhancing your automation workflow.

Reliability

Adjustable connection and transaction timeout parameters provide optimal performance. In the event of a network failure, automated recovery measures are in place to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, a backup controller can be defined to ensure reliable Automated Communications Failover..

High-Speed Performance

Parallel processing enables high-speed data throughput for Ethernet devices, achieving updates as fast as 15 milliseconds with automated packet optimization for multiple variables within each packet. Up to 1,000,000 tags per server.

Data Accuracy

Data from each controller is processed on-premise in a first-in, first-out (FIFO) manner. This ensures that all data received from the controller is preserved and not just the latest value. Maintaining complete data accuracy is crucial for all applications that rely on this data.

Common Use Cases

Log Allen Bradley Data to Databases and CSV Files

Use the OAS Data Historian to log data from Allen Bradley controllers into various databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and others. This logging can be triggered by changes in the data, specific events, or continuously. The system also supports logging high-speed buffered data from a controller. Learn more ..

Transfer Allen Bradley Data

Transfer of data to and from Allen Bradley controllers and various Industry 4.0 data sources using the Data Route feature.. This data transfer can occur continuously or be triggered by specific events. Additionally, both Basic and Live Data Cloud Networking enhance this feature, allowing for seamless transfer over your local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), or the Internet.
